Cristates
Crested forms of cacti and succulents.
These occur naturally, but infrequently,  in nature. In theory, every variety can have a cristate form. These weird but interesting forms can be very collectible and make impressive show specimens.
About 1 cristate is produced from each 10,000 "normal" seeds sown. Once germinated, this "once in 10,000" seedling can only be reproduced from cuttings.Cristates can be found in the wild, but flower less frequently than normal forms and will produce only normal seedlings.
