Rebutia
Rebutia

The CITES Checklist recognises 29 accepted species and 9 provisional ones (it appears that there might be a couple more which were left out by mistake). In reaching these figures, five previously recognised genera—Aylostera, Digitorebutia (sometimes called Mediolobivia), Rebutia, Sulcorebutia, and Weingartia have been merged to form the presently recognised genus of Rebutia.

Rebutia  are native to Bolivia and Argentina where they grow mostly at altitudes of around 12,000 feet.
They are easy plants to grow and will reward you with brightly coloured flowers which are produced in shades of red, yellow, white, pink and orange.
They  flower in the spring following a winter rest. They are all small growing cacti and are ideal candidates for bowl gardens.
Most Rebutias produce vibrantly coloured flowers easily even on small plants such as this one - easy to grow and flower!

Temperature
Most Rebutia are high altitude plants and will withstand low temperatures if dry. In the UK they can be grown in an unheated greenhouse, down to at least a minimum winter temperature of minus 7C (for brief periods) combined with a winter rest period.
